Understanding Subliminal Messages Implanted In The Subconscious

I know that this website is called Botanical Guides. I do like to go off-topic in the articles section from time to time though. This article is about subliminal messages, and sub-conscious suggestions. I will explain in detail how you can be influenced to think or act a certain way. I will also point out that sometimes when someone says something is a subliminal message, that they themselves are the perpetrators. In other words, the news regarding the subliminal message can itself BE the message.

How the Subconscious Works

The video below is a great lecture on the subconscious mind. He plays part of a Led Zeppelin song, and then plays it backwards. Then he gives the subjects some text to read that goes along with the backwards song. He proves to these people that by planting these ideas in their mind, their brains have now accepted it as truth. Now no matter how hard they try, they can not hear the gibberish that the backwards song used to sound like.

The same thing is so with certain claims. I'm not saying that there are no conspiracies at all. I'm saying that horrifying lies can be planted in your brain that are simply not true. I'm also not saying that nothing on TV or in Hollywood is not programming ideas and suggestions into your sub-conscious. I'm quite sure that many are. The point of this article is to show you that you can be tricked into believing something that's simply untrue.

Question Everything

I want to point out that your trust in a source has everything to do with whether or not you are being deceived. I want to use the movie The Wizard Of Oz as an example. This is because it's one of the most well rumored films to contain hidden subliminal messages. Many people believe that there is a scene depicting a human figure hanging itself. If you watch the movie though, pause frame, and zoom in, then you'll clearly see that it's some kind of giant bird.

People want to believe in most of the hog wash that they hear so much that it over-rides their minds intellect circuits. When you look at a giant bird and still believe that it's someone hanging their-self, then you have been manipulated. In the next paragraph, I will debunk the b.s. conspiracy claims about The Wizard Of Oz. I will explain my interpretation of the movie.

The True Meaning Of The Wizard Of Oz

Dorothy is all shook up over this mean woman named Mrs. Gale. She gets hit on the head during the middle of a tornado. She enters a deep REM sleep and begins to have a long and vivd dream. Dreams are messages from the subconscious and unconscious mind. Shes about to embark on the dream of a life time which reveals to her the answers that she needs to restore emotional balance in her life. The imbalance of her emotions is all caused from her own emotional response to Mrs. Gale.

The characters known as the Scarecrow, the Tin man, and the Cowardly lion, are all three of the workers from her Aunt Ems farm. Often times people, places, and things from our waking life enter our dreams. These characters being in the dream are no different. She does not know that she is dreaming however; and she wants to get back to her Aunt Em. First, her unconscious mind must expose to her the answers that she needs.

Color Psychology

Now I want to talk about the colors in the movie. If you've read the other claims about this movie you can compare them to this article. You'll notice that clearly the other statements are bogus and make no sense. The study of colors and their effects on human psychology and emotion have been well researched around the globe. I will explain what each one means in a symbolic manner. You'll notice that my explanation makes far more sense than the other stuff you'll read on the internet.

The color red is a color of passion, strength, courage, and love. Sense Dorothy is wearing ruby slippers that are red, you now see the connection. Strength, courage, and love all guide her to finding her answers and getting back to Kansas. The color yellow is often associated with intellect, friendship, joy and hope. Now her and her friends are all wandering down a yellow brick road. Do you see the connection in the symbolism?

Once the gang finally makes it to Emerald city, a brilliantly beautiful green city in the sky, they all find emotional balance. Green is associated with a sense of well-being. This is exactly what all of the characters find once they reach the great Oz. The man behind the curtain has to trick them into realzing that they do have brains, and a heart, and courage. After Dorothy and her friends get the emotional balance that they need, and the change of mind that they desire, Dorothy is ready to go home ( to wake up ).

You see, this explanation of the movie is scientific. The explanations out there that are filled with bogus fear mongering suggestions don't make nearly as much sense. They can make sense if you're subconsciously programmed to believe them, especially if you believe it while you read it. This is how you can be subconsciously influenced. Just as the guy in the video has shown us that these backwards messages in Led Zeppelin songs were implanted in the subjects minds, these fear-mongering suggestions have been implanted in others minds as well.
