It's scientifically known as Tarchonanthus Camphoratus. The plant is another one of many discussed on this website that originates from Southern Africa. Bushman's Camphor Bush is a beautiful, small tree-like bush with gray leaves and white flowers. The leaves have been smoked for centuries by the Bushmen as a nicotine-free alternative to strains of tobacco. The leaves of this plant have also been used medicinally to clear the sinuses for a change, and to alleviate headaches and coughs, as well as in massage oils, perfumes, and even dental hygeine.

This ethnobotanical is harvested and imported from South Africa with full exspect to future generations. It's a nicotine free variety, and contains no pesticides or chemicals or any kind. The herb is also commonly refered to as the the "Camphor Bush" because its an excellent source of the medicinal and industrial constituent known as Camphor crystals. Because of this, its properties are similar to that of Mullein, Mint, Licorice, Ginger, & Coltsfoot, to name a few. These would even go good together in an infusion. An infusion is basically a mixture of herbal remedies combined in a synergistic way in order to create one powerful medicine.

Smoking is something plenty of people have always enjoyed. The problem is not everyone wants products that are laced with known carcinogens. If you're looking for some crafty strains that are organic, fresh, and have a quality flavor then I suggest checking out Baybean. Note: Only a limited number of strains are of the official Nicotiana species, which means only so many of these strains contain nicotine and other corresponding alkaloids.

It has also been used as a wood fuel, source of charcoal, traditional building material, and in tribal paper-making. You would be amazed how much the industrial evolution depends on compounds and oils captured from these historic ethnos. To give you an example just consider Listerine. Listerine contains thymol, menthol, and eucalyptol. These three phytochemicals are all sourced from herbs which include: Mint & Eucalyptus, to name a couple.

For those of you who are looking for alternatives to the mainstream brands you have come to the right place. There are a large selection of natural incense on this page, including frankincense and myrrh that can be used to cure your smoke. Store your goods in a glass jar with your incense of choice for months at a time. The longer the product sits with the natural incense, the more the aroma sets in. Natural scents are not like the typical ones you find in local shops. Natural aromatics are like sap, or resins collected from wild sources.
