Ololiuqui - Rivea corymbosa
Ololiuqui Seeds For Sale  rivea corymbosa plant

Ololiuqui is scientifically referred to as Rivea corymbosa. It's very closely related to Morning Glories and Hawaiian Baby Woodrose because of the natural compounds that it produces, and its historic use as an aid to the minds eye and "spiritual practices" [ use as an entheogen ]. Native Shamans believed that these seeds could help them gain knowledge in curing illness(medical practices) by enabling them to discover the psychological causes for all illness. I actually interviewed one once up in NYC. Note that this information is presented for research purposes only. Do not consume these seeds. They are only legal to grow. This information is presented strictly for research. Facts regarding these seeds are readily available from scholarly resources. I'd like to make the sincere point that these seeds can be dangerous as the coating is toxic..

Opium Poppy; Papaver somniferum
Opium Poppy Seeds

Yes, the OPIUM Poppy. The worlds most effective pain medication could not exist without this flower. In fact, man does not even create this medication. Instead, big pharmaceutical companies simply extract it from the poppy plant. You see, poppies naturally contain morphine, thebaine, codeine, papaverine, and noscapine, to name a few. So the next time you go to the dentist in extreme pain and you are prescribed opiates, remember that the relief you get from those pills would not exist if it were not for this flower. It's also used in the culinary arts ( you see it on bagles and muffins ). It can cause a false positive on a drug test so be careful. Remember that this information is simply that, information. It's intended for research purposes only.

Opium Lettuce; Lactuca virosa
Opium Lettuce

Opium Lettuce does not contain opium. It does however, contain many constituents that are opiate-like. Aside from it's supposed relaxing, and potential pain relieving properties, it does offer some medicinal qualities as well according to herbalists. Although, an entheogen known as Kratom offers a much more effective punch ( in my opinion ) comparable by some to poppy constituents such as morphine. The opium lettuce is much more tame or subtle. It doesn't have a bad taste at all. I find it great when I'm sick, or even sometimes to just relax. I have a great book on Native American culture, and they use it too. It's not something you'd put in your salad though. Read more about Opium Lettuce here.
