This is no ordinary selection of plants. These ethnobotanical specimens are of great interest to pharmocologist, ethnobotanist, scientist, alternative healers, spiritualist, shamans, and other cultures across the globe. Ethnobotanicals are plants that have been highly sought after by human beings sense the beginning. Below I will discuss these sacred plants in alphabetical order. Keep in mind this is only a small portion of ethnobotanical plants in the world.

Sacred Lotus Nelumbo nucifera
buy sacred lotus

This species is related to the Blue Lotus. There are many varities of lotus, each having their own unique "vibe" or "vibration" ( psychoactive effect ). The plant is a night time herb, used for stimulating meditative states of being and "expanding consciousness", according to tradition. The effects are very subtle and tranquil. You must be prepared to relax and journey inwards if you are to see anything in the lotus. It's as if meditation activates the entheogens natural effects on the minds eye. It's one of my personal favorite "entheogens". To prepare an elixir of the lotus any and all parts of the plant are soaked in wine for an extended period of time. The elixir should soak for at least one month before use.

Sakae Naa; Combretum quadrangulare
sakae naa for sale

Sakae Naa has a vast history of use. It's been prized as an alternative to the popular entheogen known as "Kratom". In my opinion, the effects are more subtle in nature than those of Kratom. I also believe they are more suitable for muscle relatation and general sedation than a substitute for "Kratom". I gave out some free samples of this to some friends to try, and they enjoyed it and claimed that it was quite effective for relaxing after work and easing slight aches and pains.

Sakae Naa also has a history of use in "White Magic" ( wikipedia ).

Whatever you do.. Don't try this at home. Consult your healthcare provider before use. Read more

San Pedro; Trichocereus pachanoi
san pedro seeds for sale

San Pedro is closely related to Peyote. Click the link above to learn more. It has a vast history of use as both an ornamental cacti and as an entheogen used in a shamanic context. There are actually quite a few barely legal "entheogenic" cacti, but they are only legal to grow or posess in most regions of the country. I believe in New Mexico there are religious protection laws that allow people to use these in a "religious or ritualistic context". There's a great book on alternatives to Peyote and over 38 varities are legal in the USA to buy and grow!

Sacred Tobacco Nicotiana rustica
buy sacred tobacco

It's considered sacred mostly because it was not grown for mass profit in this case. In this case, Sacred Tobacco otherwise known as Nucotiana Rustica, lives up to its name becuase of its purity. Apart from modern commercial Tobacco products, this organic and imported Nicotiana rustica is among some of the finest quality Tobacco strains in the world. It's cultivated organically by very skilled farmers who have grown this plant for long periods of time throughout history. There is nothing added to this Tobacco. It is 100% orgainc tobacco free from any chemical interference.

Sinicuichi Heimia salicfolia
sinicuichichi for sale

Sinicuichi is very simliar to Damiana. Both are flowering psychoactive shrubs that grow in Mexico. Like Damiana, Sinicuichi is no joke. It has a history of use in Shamanism dating to the Aztecs. Crushed leaves were added to water and then fermented. The resulting drink was known as Sinicuichi. The entheogenic effects induced by the potent brew lead to the nick name "Sun Opener". Legend also has it that Sinicuichi gives the ability to recall past events with great clarity. This is a very fascinating ethnobotanical indeed. Perhaps the ability to recall past events with great clarity could shed some light on many forgotten and failed lessons in ones life. The results of this happening would be evolutionary. Read more about Sinicuichi here.

Syrian Rue - Peganum harmala - The Minds Eye
syrian rue seeds for sale

This is another entheogen of the dream realm. Peganum harmala is an MAOI that should not be combined with certain medications. The plant species naturally produces very important chemicals known as harmala, harmine and harmaline. These highly evolved phytochemicals have much to teach human kind. They naturally interact with other constituents produced by the human mind. Human kind and plants seem to have co-evolved. We share a vital relationship with plants like these. I believe they are here to guide us and teach us. Read more about Syrian Rue here. Ethno's such as this are often combined with other entheogenic substances such as Peyote, Ayahuasca, etc, yet have effects on their own.

I'm not allowed to advertise Salvia Divinorum & Live Salvia Plants For Sale because they're illegal in my state.

Synaptolepsis kirkii
synaptolepsis kirkii for sale

This botanical known as "Synaptolepsis kirkii" scientifically, has a reputation in Africa as an oneirogen. Oneirogens are plants or substances that induce more vivid, memorable, and intense dreams. There is some phytochemical research behind the mechanisms of action within the plant. Read more about this sacred oneirogen here. This is a type of botanical that the average maw and paw herb shop doesn't stock, only those who specialize in rare species utilized by "primitive" cultures such as the Shamans of the Amazon, Native Americans, etc. I hope to introduce this sacred knowledge to the western world as it needs to be known.

Sweet Flag Acorus calamus
buy calamus sweet flag

I would love to sit down with some highly respectable Cree Indians and listen to them teach about this plant. The tribe has been known to use the fresh root to induce heightened states of consciousness. They claim that it enables them to "travel great distances without touching the ground". The fresh roots are used because they have a much higher concentration of oils and active constituents. It's said to be a plant of the warrior, eliminating fear. It also offers medicinal applications being that it is a powerful stimulant, analegeic, and even anti-microbial.

The plant is very easy to grow and makes a really cool house plant. They love a lot of water as it is in their nature to grow near swampy areas of planet earth. The leaves also have medicinal applications and can be harvested throughout the years as the plant grows. Read more about Sweet Flag here.
