Lemon Peels are a part of the fruit that's taken for granted. What many people don't know about the peel itself is that it's beneficial for stimulating the digestive tract and calming an upset stomach. It's also appreciated by natural healers for easing colic and indigestion. As far as the nutritional value goes, the peel is chalked full of vitamin C and other citrus bioflavanoids that stimulate circulation and the human immune system. It can enhance the taste of any herbal infusion.

Due to its acidic nature, it makes a great addition to Kratom elixirs and infusions. This is because tha acidity helps to extract the phytochemicals present within the organic plant matter. Personally, I find it a great addition to any healing infusion used for treating the common cold. Below are some recipes of mine that I'd like to share.
Meditation & Dream Blend:
2 pebbles of Frankincense, a pinch of Cinnamon, a pinch of Nutmeg, a very small amount of Passion Flower & Chamomile, and finally the Lemon Peel.
Frankincense is known to increase brain activity in the frontal lobe. It's used for meditation and spiritual practice. Cinnamon and Nutmeg both contain Safrole, a psychoactive constituent. Cinnamon is also known to have antibacterial properties. Nutmeg is also considered an oneirogen. This means that it has the ability to stimulate and induce vivid dream activity. Passion Flower is also an oneirogen, MAOI, and a sedative.
Sedatives help to gently relax you to sleep. Chamomile has also been traditionally used for insomnia, making it another awesome addition to the infusion. Finally, the lemon peel ads to the medicinal properties and taste of this infusion. All together this is a calming, healthy, and spiritually stimulating elixir that's perfect for use right before sleep. It's sure to please your minds eye and aid you into a restful nights sleep filled with magical dreams.
It's Not Myth - It's Science
Too many people foolishly believe that any natural health remedy could possibly work. They believe that it's just some bogus folk lore. The truth is that these people have just not been educated on the matter. In fact, anyone in the world can access endless academic resources on the subject via the internet and elextronica databases provided by educational institutions around the globe.
Herbal infusions and other natural remedies are backed by science. Phytochemistry is a field of science that studies the chemical constituents produced by these tools for better health. They use the suns energy and the biospheres water, and c02, to produce ingenious organic compounds. These chemicals are vastly superior to anything that human beings can create.
Nature is a pharmacy and science know it. Humans have been extracting compounds from plants and taking all of the credit for profit for as long as anyone can remember. These synthetic versions are not quite the same, and are for the most part, dangerous. Take it from someone who spent five and a half days in the hospital from an ulcer caused from taking Aspirin.
