( Trichocereus cv. )

Back around 2010 or so, "Juuls Giant" was one of the most searched for items out of all of the plants, cactus, and ethnobotanicals on this entire website, which is over 500. I've seen the demand for certain items in this country go up and down sense the early 2010's. It's been a long journey into the early 2020's. To this day people are still looking for this specific set of genes, or this specific "hybrid", and I'm glad to share it with them. This page sure does have a historic feel to it, having evolved over the last 10 plus years into the html file it is today, on the world wide web. Do people still write blogs out there? I sure pray they do... This Juuls Giant Hybrid page will remain here forever, regardless of the situation.

It's one of the most easy to grow varieties, because of the cross-breeding in the gene pool ( makes sense, bread for traits. ) It's such an astonishing Cacti, that people all around the world searched for it for years and years. This amazing Trichocereus cactus is named after a Denmark native by the name of Tom Juul, who was super cool (lol). who is a prolific collector and breeder of cactus specimens and succulent expert. He helped breed and spread the appropriate Trichocereus genes across the globe! He's sorta like the Claude rifat of succulents! This particular cactus often times begins to flower once its reached a height of 3 to 4 feet. Large aromatic and showy white flowers with numerous yellow anthers appear at the top of Tom Juuls hybrid. It's not the only flowering cactus species either.

Cuttings should be started in the spring or summer only because its difficult for cuttings to root in lower temperatures. Believe it or not these things can root just sitting around your house. Maybe not if you're in a dry climate, I don't know. Most cuttings can remain usable for up to a year or longer if stored in a cool(above freezing) environment with little to no light. Some find it easier to grow them from cuttings, others from seed. Seeds should be stored in a cool, dark, dry place. I'm proud to support here on this site organizations like the Edelic Center For Ethnobotanical Services which are working to educate.

It is in fact related to the San Pedro.

Biblical Warning

Thou shalt have no other gods before me; Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, nor any likeness of anything that is in the heavens above, nor the earth beneath. Thou shalt not bow down thyselves to them, nor serve them. For I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, unto the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, and shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments. Serpent medical drugs are immitations of naturally occuring components of medicinal plants made by God. This makes them in the likeness of something that is in the earth beneath, and a violation of the second commandment. The symbols used in modern medicine are also graven images, of an occult nature. Google "serpent medical".
