Update: The DEA has failed at banning Kratom. It's not their responsibility to make laws anyway. I think the whole thing was a big scare tactic. Thanks to everyone who helped fight the fight. Currently, this herb remains 100% legal. :)
UEI Ultra Enhanced Indonesia Kratom (Mitragyna speciosa)
For those of you who appreciate many different varieties of Kratom, we have a surprise for you. UEI ( Ultra Enhanced Indonesian ) is a special blend of multiple varieties and extracts from Indonesia. This blend ensures that the wide range of unique effects available can be utilized in one synergistic mixture. This is useful for people who can't seem to find the right strain, and people who need all the different vibes offered by the plant.
The color of the veins of the leaves indicate the phytochemical make up of the plant. This is where the "red vein", "green vein", titles come from. These phytochemicals are responsible for the effects produced by the specific strain. Also the slightly different variations in the genetics make a difference as well. There are different strains which produce unique vibes. On top of that, the multiple vein colors of these multiple varieties also effects the psychoactivity produced.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Kratom, let me explain. It's a tree native to the Pacific Islands. It naturally produces some fascinating pharmacological chemicals which effect opioid receptors in the human body. This enables the herb to act as a stimulant, pain reliever, and inebriating entheogen. It has been used as a way to cope with opiate withdrawls, pain, anxiety, depression, and for some, insomina.
How Is It Taken?
Typically, it's consumed orally (by mouth) and chased with a drink. Any type of drink other than water works well as a chaser. Don't think that i'm hating on water becuase I love it, it just doesn't wash down the powdered leaf all that well. No, you can't smoke it. Smoking it will do nothing but waste the product and leave a fowl taste in your mouth. It's important to start small instead of taking a lot in order to "feel it". When I say small, I mean around 1/2-1 tsp. That's a typical dose for an amateur user.
